At Bianca & Bear, fabric comes first. We choose Peruvian Pima cotton for many of our signature styles because it feels exceptionally soft, smooth, and breathable against delicate skin while still standing up to everyday childhood.

Why Pima feels different

Peruvian Pima cotton is known for its long, smooth fibers, which help create a soft, breathable fabric with a refined feel. The result is clothing that feels gentle enough for sleep and sensitive skin, but practical enough for play, travel, and repeat wear.

Made with sensitive skin in mind

Bianca & Bear was inspired by a very personal need. Bianca struggled to find clothing that felt comfortable for her son’s eczema-prone, sensitive skin, which led her to focus on exceptionally soft fabrics and thoughtful construction. Many of our Pima styles are chosen for their breathable, hypoallergenic feel and comfort against delicate skin.
